Remember Who We Are, Remember What We Know: A Celebration of Black Wisdom & Black Educators

During Black History Month this year, The Expectations Project is celebrating Black wisdom and the educators (formal and informal) who helped preserve and pass it down through the generations. Join us as we take time to remember the ancestors who changed the game for children and education and reflect on the wise words that have and continue to encourage and nurture us.

In this tumultuous time of confusion around history and facts, when quality education is constantly under attack, may we never forget that Black History bears witness to a long line of advocates and change-makers who fought for quality education for all God’s children. May we also be held and propelled by the wealth of wisdom that has guided us thus far and will carry us still.
